The Bronze Battle Cross
The “Battle Cross”, composed of a bronze replica of items a service member has in the field of battle — boots, a rifle, dog tags and a helmet — presented in the shape of a cross. That design reflects what most units did to commemorate fallen soldiers during memorial ceremonies in the South Vietnam combat zone.
